From the outside in people would think I have a fairly high risk threshold.
And my threshold might be more than most.
But you know what’s crazy?
Everyday people risk with their pursuit of mission. Everyday people risk with their pursuit of community or relationships. They make their work and/or relationships their center of being. That’s stupid risky.
If I just had that relationship then I would…be whole. If I just had that job then I would…be successful. If I just had that house then I would…be able to prove myself.
The #1 guarantee you can have in this life is a secure identity in Jesus. Then as you pursue mission and community it’s not really risk. Those can come and go while you’ll still be secure.
Where are you betting it all?
