God wants to show you where He wants to grow you.
And the clues are all around you. Everyday.
First clue: what you want to prove to others.
Honestly…if there was something the whole world could know about you what would it be?
Better yet…if you could hear Jesus tell you ANYTHING what would it be?
You have something you want to prove to the world because you don’t believe it’s true on the inside. Your external drive reveals your internal insecurity.
You have a need to prove because a FALSE WORD was spoken to your soul. Once or many times. God has a TRUE WORD to speak to your soul.
The gospel answers what you want to prove to others. I want everyone to know I’m worthy. My worth is sealed and complete in Jesus. My need to prove shows were I can grow. As you are aware of your hurts and invite Jesus into your need to prove, you will experience peace.
Thoughts?

So true.
When I take a moment to become aware of what I’m trying to prove, I can see how I’m burdening others with my words or actions. Instead of becoming a source of peace, I become a source of anxiety.
Thanksgiving with the family is a fantastic arena to become aware of what you’re trying to prove…
right on. You just inspired a post.
Chris,
This is amazing, I wasjust talking with a friend today about this very same thing. With the launch of our church so many people are feeling lost in the numbers, unappreciated and just plain worn. Negativity is all around and people are soaking it up and spreading it. I was reminded a few weeks ago that what I do, who I am, what I say is JESUS. That is all that matters. Man’s opinion, a position, or even a pat on the back really don’t matter when you do what you for Jesus. He is my strength, encouragement and security. Thank you for continuing to let God use you to minister to people like me who need to be reminded why I’m doing what I’m doing.
God bless!!!!
So true Karen!
It is when we learn to receive from Jesus the affirmation we’re dieing to hear from everyone else, we can truly be a source of hope & peace in troubled times.
Our cup runs over. Fruit is produced when we abide where we’re designed to abide.
Need a like button Adam…”where we’re designed to abide”
thanks Karen!
