People dread Monday.
Why? Because they aren’t pursuing a passion but punching a clock.
At the end of the week they find the clock has punched them.
Here it is…
- If you want to love Monday you must do work you love.
- You can’t figure out work you will love until you realize your work can’t be the source of your identity. You can’t build who you are around what you do.
- Figure out who you are first by determining who you’re living for in life. Go here for help.
- Who you are will overflow into the work you are supposed to do. Who you are shapes what you do!
- The work you were meant to do will find you. Keep your eyes open.
- When you get the crap beat out of you while pursuing your passion you won’t quit. You won’t dread Mondays. Why? Work isn’t the source of your identity (who you are) just the overflow. Reread #2
When you can work from an overflow of an identity in Jesus you can stop chasing affirmation in your performance. Then, paradoxically, you will be unstoppable!
You up for that? I help people figure out who they are apart from what they do everyday. It solidifies their identity. It unlocks their passion. Subscribe to this blog. Come to the next Peak Performance Retreat. You’ve been blocked up for too long. You’re capable of so much more.
The. time. is. now.
